Headwaters School Communication Types

Headwaters School uses various methods to send communication to parents.

Emergency Text Alerts: This is a short code text message send directly to your cell phone number provided on your contact card in the Nest. Messages sent via this method are time sensitive. Not receiving these messages? Click Read More below.

Email: Headwaters School uses our school email, Constant Contact, and Nest Pushpages to send almost all communications. These all go to your inbox. However, one could unsubscribe to Constant Contact and Nest Pushpages.

Nest News: These are stories that live on the website or password protected side of the Nest. We can choose to notify groups so that you get a Notification sent to your inbox or as a text.

Social Media: We use social media platforms (generally Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter) to relay this information to the general community and public.
Last fall, we sent out this email to the community with two subsequent attempts to have community members opt into SMS messages from us. If there was a problem with opting in, please reach out to IT@headwaters.org so that we can amend.

If you did not opt in, but wish to now, you can just text YES to the number 87569 to opt in to Headwaters emergency text alerts.

Please reach out to the IT department at it@headwaters.org with any questions.
