MS/HS Virtual Back to School Night

Virtual Event
Visit River Campus Virtual Back-to-School Night for all the details about tonight. This page will have almost everything you need for the evening, including norms, schedule, and Zoom links for each guide. Before the event starts, log into the Nest and make a note of your child’s class schedule and guides so you know where to go.
8/23/21 Update: We are also finalizing the details for this Thursday’s virtual Back-to-School Night with links and schedules. The goal of this evening will be a chance to go through your child’s schedule to meet their guides and advisor. In order to accomplish this, we need to extend the evening to a new time starting at 6:15 p.m. and ending at 8:15 p.m. Thank you for your understanding and we will email the schedule to families on Wednesday.

At Back to School Night, you will meet your child’s guides, advisor, support staff, and administrators as you walk through a modified version of your child’s schedule. During this event, you will have the opportunity to get to know your child’s classmates, fellow advisees, and parent community as you learn more about our programs at Headwaters.

8/20/21 Update:
In an effort to be mindful of bringing a big crowd back for Back-to-School Night on Thursday, August 26, we are hosting a virtual event. You will be able to meet new guides and see familiar faces all from the comfort of home. We look forward to ways to bring parents back on campus in the future. We will have the schedule and more details next week.

8/6/20 Update:
Looking ahead to Back-to-School Night, which is currently scheduled for August 26, we are giving serious thought and consideration to the safest way to make sure that community members have the opportunity to interact with one another and to know about the courses that we are excited to offer this year. Please know that more information will be forthcoming. We thank you for your flexibility as we face these challenges together. Know that we are united in our commitment to our students, our community, and to providing a safe, welcoming, and loving environment for our whole community.
