School in Session on Thursday, 1/20/22
Dear Headwaters Families,
Based on the current forecasts, Headwaters School campuses will be open as scheduled tomorrow, Thursday, January 20, 2022.
We will continue to monitor weather conditions for tomorrow, especially for after-school programs. If there are any changes to our schedule, we will use our emergency text alert system, email, and social media to update you if necessary.
Please be sure students have proper (and labeled) layers including jackets, hats, gloves, and footwear for the weather (we love this Outdoor Winter Clothing Resources created by Creek Guide Jennie Glass!), but please note that we will use caution with outside activities and limit as appropriate. While we are spending more time indoors, our layered COVID-19 mitigation efforts are key in preventing spread. We will be spacing kids out as best as possible (especially while eating/drinking), keeping windows open for air flow, using our HEPA filters, and most importantly, wearing a mask correctly and consistently for those in Primary and above. Here are some tips on mask fit and style, too.
