International Dot Day | Wear your dots!

Creek Campus
International Dot Day is celebrated annually on September 15. The Dotby Peter Reynolds, has been adopted by art teachers around the world to honor the uniqueness and creativity in all of us. To celebrate this day we will all dress in as many (polka) dots as we can on Monday, September 15. Feel free to get creative at home if you don't have anything. You could color dots and safety pin them onto clothing, or color on an old tshirt. This year, our children in Kindergarten through 5th grade have created their own dot designs on paper using oil pastels. The dots will each be cut out and glued to a large backdrop to celebrate our collective community.
