Headwaters School Endowment
Planted by students. Growing for generations.
In spring 2024, two student leaders started a legacy that continues to flourish: the first-ever Headwaters School Endowment. Eli Floyd and Eli Jones, both members of the Class of 2024, founded an investment club to explore real-world finance. With their first $650 in investment earnings, they made the remarkable decision to donate their profits and establish an endowment for Headwaters School. Their goal? To help sustain the school they loved and inspire future students to lead with purpose. When school leaders learned about the students’ vision, they didn’t just applaud it—they engaged with it seriously. A lunch with the Head of School and Head of Finance turned into a meaningful conversation about how student initiative can shape the future. | ![]() |
![]() | Today, that $650 has become a symbol of community, innovation, and sustainability. Their legacy reminds us that leadership knows no age, and that anyone can make a lasting difference. An endowment is a permanently invested fund designed to generate annual income while preserving the principal–ensuring support for Headwaters School in perpetuity. |
You can ensure that their
vision continues to thrive.
