PSAT for 10th and 11th Graders

Please note that the 11th grade PSAT determines if your student will qualify to be a National Merit Scholar.  Please read this article for more information about the program.  For students wanting to qualify, I highly recommend that you take advantage of practice materials from the CollegeBoard. 

Late arrivals will not be allowed to test.  Please plan on arriving by 8:15 at the latest.

The exam takes approximately 2.5 hours.  Time may vary based on the students' level of cooperation in getting started as well as if they have been approved for accommodations that require extra time. 

Students must bring:
  • Calculator according to these specific CollegeBoard rules.
  • Two sharpened #2 pencils
  • Snacks and water for breaks

Please note that the times and dates listed below are the only time Headwaters will offer practice exams this fall. If you cannot make these times and would still like to take a practice exam, I recommend that you contact More Than a Teacher for their low cost opportunities.
