Headwaters Endowment

Planted by Students. Grown for Generations.

Stronger Together: Building Bright Futures, One Gift at a Time

In the spring of 2024, two student leaders sparked a legacy that continues to grow: the first-ever Headwaters School Endowment.

As members of the Class of 2024, Eli Floyd and Eli Jones founded an investment club to explore real-world finance. What began as a learning opportunity soon became something much greater.

After earning $650 through their investments, Eli and Eli chose to donate their profits and establish the Headwaters Endowment, a lasting investment in the school they loved.

Their goal was simple: to support future generations of students and strengthen Headwaters for years to come. When school leaders learned of their vision, they embraced it. Conversations with the Head of School and Head of Finance highlighted the power of student initiative and the impact young people can have on their community.
Today, that original $650 represents far more than a financial investment. It stands as a symbol of generosity, leadership, and belief in the future.

Eli and Eli's story is a powerful example of what a Headwaters education can inspire. Their vision, generosity, and leadership demonstrate that meaningful change can begin at any age, and remind us that leadership knows no age.
