In the spring of 2024, two student leaders sparked a legacy that continues to grow: the first-ever Headwaters School Endowment.
Eli Floyd and Eli Jones, members of the Class of 2024, founded an investment club to explore real-world finance. But what they created was far more than a club—it became the foundation for long-term impact.

With their first $650 in investment earnings, both made a remarkable decision: to donate their profits and establish an endowment for Headwaters School.

Their goal? To help sustain the school they loved and inspire future students to lead with purpose.
When school leaders learned about Eli and Eli’s vision, they didn’t just applaud it—they engaged with it seriously. A lunch with the Head of School and Head of Finance turned into a meaningful conversation about how student initiative can shape the future.

Their legacy reminds us: leadership knows no age.
Today, that $650 has become a symbol of community, innovation, and sustainability.
