Redefining the High School Experience

River Campus
You know the River Campus, but do you know it as a high schooler?

Current 7th and 8th grade students and families are invited to experience our downtown campus through a new lens. While you are already familiar with our charming buildings and discovered every nook and cranny that our spaces have to offer you as middle schoolers, high school at Headwaters offers a distinctly different journey, one filled with opportunities for academic growth and challenge, adventure, college dreaming and planning, and leadership experiences.

Join us to explore the campus with fresh eyes and discover how high schoolers use our River Campus and downtown Austin as their classroom. Hear from our River Campus & High School Director Stephanie Roach, and College Counselor Lisa Dubuque Wood about our High School program and the academic options that allow you to customize your Headwaters High School experience based on your passions and interests. Connect with current high school students and guides who can share firsthand how the transition from middle to high school transforms their learning, independence, and sense of purpose.

From the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme to engineering and design tech classes, Model UN, Mandarin classes, Outdoor Leadership, advanced fine arts experiences, international travel opportunities, and robust and personalized college counseling support, high school at Headwaters is about more than just the opportunity to travel off campus for lunch – it's about guides becoming mentors who point you in the right direction while encouraging you to chart your own course. This is your opportunity to discover what it means to move from learning who you are to pursuing who you want to become.

We look forward to reimagining the River Campus with you!
