PACT Challenge

The week of March 2-5 is our PACT Challenge—where we come together as one community to show our love for Headwaters School and the students who make this community.

PACT Challenge consists of a whole-school spirit week and challenges us to raise $40,000 for financial aid! Supporting financial aid directly supports students' futures and helps more families to say 'yes' to being a part of our community. 

Our financial aid program has a profound impact on our school community. While it accounts for just 4% of our overall budget, that percentage translates to over $350,000—supporting 10% of our students with critical aid. You can help make a difference!

PACT Challenge Spirit Week

We're hosting a whole-school Spirit Week, with students, guides, and families invited to dress up each day for school!

  • Monday, March 2: Mismatch Monday

    Mix it up and clash your colors! Wear the wildest combos you can find–the more mismatched, the better!

  • Tuesday, March 3: Twin Tuesday

    Grab a friend (or two) and match outfits! Double the fun with your twinning look. 👯‍♀️

  • Wednesday, March 4: Well-Dressed Wednesday

    Time to dress to impress! Pull out your best fancy attire and show off your elegant side.

  • Thursday, March 5: Hawk Thursday

    Show your school spirit! Wear your Hawks gear loud and proud to wrap up the week. You can also opt to wear our school colors--dark, medium, and light blue with pops of orange!

    If you need spirit gear, visit our Sideline Store to get made-to-order items shipped directly to your door. All items are custom and take time to print and ship. Headwaters does not currently have any in-house merch offerings for sale.

Sip & Swap: A book and record exchange

Attention all music and word lovers! You are invited to an adults-only Sip & Swap—a relaxed evening to gather, unwind, and celebrate what we can do together. Join us at the River Campus on Thursday, March 5, from 7—10 p.m. for drinks, conversation, and a free book-and-record swap. We will play curated vintage vinyl records throughout the evening. 

Bring a few books or records you’ve enjoyed and are ready to pass along, and browse for new treasures to take home. 
This free, joyful evening will wrap up our PACT Challenge Week for Financial Aid, a community-wide effort to raise $40,000 and help ensure a Headwaters education remains accessible to more students.

P.S. Babysitting will be available for elementary students during the event for $25 per child. Please note your babysitting needs and your child(ren)’s name(s) when you RSVP. We’ll follow up with more details closer to the event date.

Help Us Amplify Headwaters with Amplify Austin Day 2025!

We're so excited to join our friends at I Live Here I Give Here to celebrate Amplify Austin Day 2026! During the largest giving event in Central Texas, residents from across our community will come together to support hundreds of local nonprofits for 24 hours, from 6 p.m. on March 4 through 6 p.m. on March 5.

So how can you help? Make a donation to us here on our site or via Amplify ATX, then share the news with your friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors.

Amplify Austin Day is all about collective community giving. Every gift will bring us one step closer to reaching this year’s big goal and help make a huge impact on our community.
