In Memory of Khotso Khabele

Ted Graf, Head of School
Dear Headwaters Community,

It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of Khotso Khabele’s passing. In 2001, Khotso, along with Moya McIntyre, Lisa Dubuque Wood, and Hector Perez, began The Khabele School with values of "Freedom, Self-Expression, and Excellence." His impact on students and parents shaped The Khabele School and established a foundation for Headwaters School today. We are so grateful for his vision for education and his belief in the wisdom of youth. Our community aches from his passing.

Khotso is survived by his three children--Naledi, Tau, and Letsie--as well as many extended family members.

We will be in touch soon with plans for remembrances.

Take care,

Ted
