Cooking Up Connections

Keelan Wackman, Director of Development
Even when we’re socially distanced, food can help bring us together. We have cooked up several different ways to engage with each other, and even hone our culinary skills.
We’ll be hosting monthly cooking socials with the Friends of the FUNd. The first is Spanish Tapas on Wednesday, September 23. Click here for more info.

The Family Kitchen invites students of all ages to learn to cook with and for their families, guided by professional caterers and community co-hosts. These after school cooking classes begin Wednesday, October 14. Check it out and register here.

Host a Flock Party with individually packaged picnics from the Headwaters Food Trailer. Find out more about how we can support small in-person gatherings by clicking here.

If you are interested in getting more involved with these Cooking Connections programs and would like to offer ideas, co-host, or underwrite these and other food-centered initiatives at school please contact Keelan at k.wackman@headwaters.org or 512-623-5419
