Student Spotlights: Austin's Buildings Project Week

For those not familiar with Minecraft, this sandbox video game is full of adventure for players of all ages.

While in Creative Mode, it is essentially a virtual building block landscape with infinite possibilities and experiences. The game has many ways it can be played depending on the game mode and how the player wishes to play, whether you prefer to play with others or on your own. 

Headwaters Middle Schoolers Makai Nguyen and Auggie Floyd took their Project Week to another level this year by recreating some of Austin’s most interesting architecture in Minecraft, including Building 1 at the River Campus! In their Project Week presentation, they explained their research and how they built some Austin Buildings.
