Parent Ed: Supporting Your Child's Executive Function Skills with Alex Gantley

Creek Campus Yurt | 9607 Brodie Lane
Paper explosion in the backpack? Outbursts when asked to do more than one thing at a time? Hundredth reminder about brushing teeth? These patterns may relate to Executive Function–the skills needed for planning, organizing, starting, and finishing a task.

Howdy! For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Alexandra (Alex) Gantley, and I’m the Learning Specialist for the Creek Campus. I cordially invite you to attend a Parent Education event on Executive Functioning on Tuesday, November 4, from 8:30-9:25 a.m in the Yurt.

I look forward to sharing how executive function impacts learning at school, as well as learning tools for home that can build children's confidence and lessen parent frustration. This event is great for parents of any Elementary student.
