Hard Freeze Expected Tonight (11/30)

Headwaters School
According to KXAN, we should expect very cold with widespread freeze likely tonight.
We know there is a freeze warning issued by the NOAA, but without any precipitation in the forecast we do not anticipate any changes to our schedule. We'll keep watching the weather, but look forward to seeing those students who are in-person learning tomorrow. Please be sure to pack plenty of warm layers for your child, especially tomorrow morning.

KXAN reported:
"Even chillier temperatures settle in late Monday marking the coldest night of the season thus far. A widespread freeze is likely across all of Central Texas, with some areas of the Hill Country likely to see a hard freeze (prolonged period of below freezing temperatures). Be sure to take care of plants, pets and pipes before the temps drop!

Another cold front arrives on Wednesday but looks fairly dry. Only a few isolated showers are possible, mainly for our eastern counties. Rainfall accumulations, if any at all, will be light (<0.25″).
Temperatures will drop again behind our midweek front leaving afternoon highs in the 50s and overnight lows in the 30s to finish up the work week."

Stay warm!
