Presidents' Day: Student & Staff Holiday (No School)

All School
Presidents’ Day, observed on the third Monday in February, was originally established to honor President George Washington’s birthday but is now widely recognized as a day to celebrate all U.S. presidents, past and present. The holiday became known as Presidents’ Day following the 1971 Uniform Monday Holiday Act, which aimed to create more three-day weekends. Headwaters School will be closed in observance of this federal holiday; there will be no classes for students or staff.
