Additionally, 8th grade students have an optional early dismissal starting at 12:15 after Advisory to allow them to go home and get ready. If you are planning on leaving early, please email rivercampusattendance@headwaters.org to let us know what you plan to pick-up. This will allow us to plan for supervision..

Safety reminder for a physically distanced event:
This will be an in-person, socially distanced event. Please attend masked and continue physical distancing of 6 feet between other households. Keep in mind that every community member has their own comfort level with in-person events, so err on the side of caution when greeting your friends, staff, and family members.

My family member has an immune deficiency or other health related issue, should we still attend?
We suggest that families in this situation check with their doctor to decide if this event is safe for them to attend. However, we are happy to note that each family will be able to share in the celebration via the livestream of the ceremony (more information below).

What do I need to know about parking?
The entire facility at 979 Springdale accommodates 575 parking spaces. Various lots are positioned around the site and are shared with other tenants, therefore the number of open spots varies. The most underused parking area which includes 350 spots is directly behind Friends and Allies Brewery, just steps away from the back entrance of Springdale Station. Please refer to this parking map in advance to make your arrival smooth.

How many guests are allowed per graduate?
Each family will be allowed 5 seats at graduation (not including your graduate). We ask that you complete this RSVP form no later than Tuesday, April 27 to help our planning. We understand that some students live within multiple households. We ask that the head of each of these households fills out this form so we can adequately plan for your family.

Will there be extra seats available at the ceremony?
Until we have a full RSVP list for the event, we will not know if we have extra seats. Use the RSVP form to request to be added to the lottery.

Can I bring food or drinks?
Please do not bring any food to the venue. However, you are welcome to bring a water bottle with you.

How can my friends and extended family members share in this celebration?
The ceremony will be shared live on our Facebook page via Facebook Live for all to join. Guests don’t even need a Facebook account to view live. Just share our Facebook Live URL (https://www.facebook.com/headwatersschool/live/) and we will start the Facebook Live when the ceremony starts. We also recommend following our page as it will notify followers that we are Live.

This livestream will be available after the event by visiting https://www.facebook.com/headwatersschool/live.

Will my graduate “walk” to receive their diploma during this event?
Yes they will. We ask that they remain masked and opposed to the old school handshake, give Ted an elbow bump when receiving their diploma.

Will I be able to take a photo of my graduate receiving their diploma?
No. We are asking all families to stay in their seats to keep physical distancing. We will have a professional photographer, Paige Wilks who does our school portraits, present to take complimentary photos and will make the photos available to you after the event.

We are so thankful to the venue and it’s owner Moya McIntyre for donating the space.
