Extracurriculars

On the Springs Campus, we offer early arrival before school at 7:30 a.m. and after-school care until 5:45 p.m. each day. Classroom guides extend their day and create a fun environment for children to play with friends before and after school.

Primary Guide Andrew welcomes primary students to learn play soccer! This fun program introduces children to fundamental soccer principles, such as using your feet, dribbling and the basic rules of the game.

YCC Guide Becca will be offers after-school Spanish class for Primary students each semester. Join her for songs, games, and lessons after-school!

Each semester, Headwaters works will programs outside of school to offer enrichment experiences for students after-school. From yoga to robotics to so much more, we aspire to find organizations with programs that suite our students and their needs.

Librarian Julie Still and Learning Specialist Alex Gantley have started an Upper Elementary Book Club! Students are welcome to join this club where students will explore books together!

Guided Study is a place for middle schoolers to go 2 to 5 days a week when the school day lets out. This is a great place to get some extra homework support and allows middle schoolers to be on campus later than 3:30 p.m., especially if they aren't in sports or other extracurriculars. This is required for any Middle Schooler who is on campus after school lets out.

MS Drama is a weekly after-school activity that is semester-long. The class will culminate in a live performance of absurdity, hilarity, and intrigue. Join us!

Model United Nations (MUN) has been a part of the school since 2014. As with all River Campus clubs and organizations, there is a big emphasis on student involvement. 

Put the PACT into action this fall by joining the Middle School News team! Create a newsletter for the River Campus community that will spotlight campus news, Hawks athletics, opinions from our aspiring journalists, and much more! We invite writers, photographers, graphic designers, meteorologists, and proofreaders from all Middle School grades to be a part of a new Headwaters newspaper.
