POSTPONED | High School Volleyballl Trial Week Practices

8/23/22 Update:
Thank you for your interest and willingness to allow your student athlete to participate in volleyball this year. Unfortunately, we will be postponing our Trial Week Practices due to staffing, as we are still seeking coaches for the season. I am hopeful this issue will be resolved quickly. I appreciate your patience as we resolve this issue and continue to make Hawks Athletics an important part of Headwaters life for our community.
 
This means that:
  • Trial Week Practices scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday this week are postponed. They will be rescheduled when we have proper staffing.
  • Official practices will not begin on Monday, August 29, 2022. 
If your student athlete is still interested in volleyball, I invite you to complete this short interest form if you haven't already. When plans are finalized, I will reach out to this group first. 
 
Also, if you or someone you know is interested in supporting Headwaters School Athletics by coaching, I’d love to talk more. We are looking for middle and high school volleyball coaches to start right away.
High school girls are invited to join the volleyball team this fall! Depending on interest, we have a JV and Varsity team.
  • Trial Week Practices: 
    • Wednesday, August 24 from 4:25 - 5:25 PM
    • Thursday, August 25 from 4:25 - 5:25 PM
  • Students Meet at: Austin Recreation Center | 1301 Shoal Creek Blvd, Austin, TX 78701
  • Pick-up: Austin Recreation Center | 1301 Shoal Creek Blvd, Austin, TX 78701
  • First Official Day of Practice: Monday, August 29, 2022

Next week, we will start Trial Week for our Athletics. This means that your student can come to two trial practices on Wednesday 8/24 and Thursday 8/25 to test out the team and gauge interest before officially signing up.
