Find information about our summer reading and summer assignments for the upcoming school year.

Hello Headwaters Community,

I hope you are having an enjoyable start to the summer. Below you will find information about our summer reading and summer assignments for the upcoming school year.

Summer Reading for All Middle & High School Students

Before you purchase any summer reading materials, be sure to note the following:
  • Please purchase the exact ISBN listed for a text. It is important for the teachers and students that everyone be on the same page, literally. A student using another edition will be required to replace it with the correct one.
  • Students are expected to annotate the text when school begins, so a library loan will not suffice. Please purchase the text.
  • Students can expect to have their first unit of instruction based on the required summer reading. Therefore, it is crucial that students take their time and truly develop a personal understanding of the text.

Summer Assignment for IB Spanish Year 2

Students who will be entering year 2 of IB Spanish have been asked to complete the following assignment before the first day of school. Please review this sheet and reach out to Hilda Reilly with any questions.

Stay Tuned

Later this summer we will share school supply lists, tech requirements, and other important information.

Reach out to me with any questions. If students have any questions or desire support over the summer, please don't hesitate to contact me, too.

Kind regards,
