Headwaters School would like to invite all Headwaters high school students to celebrate spring with us at Prom 2023 on Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 7-10 p.m. at Vuka North Loop. 

The theme for this year’s prom is Alice in Wonderland, so expect a vibrant and memorable night with a great DJ, a special putting green, and a photo booth! Light refreshments will be served, so students should eat dinner before attending. 

Tickets

Purchase tickets at this link. Tickets are available for purchase until noon on Monday, May 1. They are $50 per guest and non-refundable. Buy your tickets early as they will be $65 at the door. If the ticket price is a burden, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Cortney Hall.

Guest Policy

Students are welcome to invite one guest from outside our community with a request form. All guest names must be indicated on the ticket purchase form and families must fill out this Guest Request Form for Dances which requires signatures from Headwaters parent/guardian and the parent/guardian of the guest. This form must be completed and turned in to the front desk at least 48 hours in advance of the dance.

Attire

This is a semi-formal event.

Rules

All Headwaters School rules are in effect during school dances. If you are unclear of Headwaters School rules, please review the Student and Family Handbook. Additionally, here are some dance-specific rules:
  • Prom is taking place between the hours of 7 and 10 pm. Students and their guests are expected to arrive no later than 8 p.m. and to remain at the Prom until 9 p.m. Early departures are not allowed.
  • Students are not allowed re-entry to the dance if they leave the building. This includes leaving the dance to go out to the car, so please bring what you need into the dance. 
  • If a student or guest violates any of the rules, both be dismissed from the dance without refund. Also, parents/guardians will be informed and requested to pick-up.
  • If a student is asked to leave the dance, they may face disciplinary consequences.

    Adult Volunteers Needed

    Lisa and I have been working hard with the Prom Committee to create all of the decorations for prom. However, we are looking for adult volunteers to help with set-up and clean-up. Please fill out this form to volunteer. 

    Decor Donations

    We are hoping to reduce, reuse, and recycle for Prom 2023 decor! Help us out by bringing in clean, gently used items on this list. Thank you in advance!
