Cinco De Mayo

Cinco de Mayo commemorates the Mexican army’s 1862 victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War. While not Mexico’s Independence Day, the holiday is widely celebrated—especially in the United States—as a tribute to Mexican culture and heritage, often featuring parades, music, and cultural events.
