Dear Headwaters Families,

Sometimes, Texas weather “helps” us with alternative plans, and today, the weather seems to have scheduled its own dance party in the form of thunderstorms starting at 3:30. Pair that with a handful of our wonderful PVC volunteers under the weather, and we’ve made the tough (but needed) decision to reschedule our beloved Boots & Blooms Dance Party to Friday, May 16. We know it’s a bummer, but please stay tuned for more details next week about our new date.

In the meantime, the Book Fair is still going strong until 4:00 today. If you’re feeling festive, feel free to swap your boots and blooms for boots and books.

Thanks for your flexibility and, as always, I’m grateful for this amazing community.

All Elementary families are invited to Boots and Blooms, an end of year party hosted by the PVC!


  • When: Friday, April 25, 2025
  • Time: After School until 5:30 p.m.
  • Where: Creek Campus UE Playground
  • What: Wear your favorite boots or flower ensemble and join the celebration with free face painting, fun music, fresh popcorn, popsicles, and snacks!
