We are looking forward to seeing you for our Parents’ and Guardians’ Night this coming Wednesday, August 31, 2022 from 6:30-8 p.m. on the River Campus. This evening hopes to provide you with an opportunity to meet with your student’s advisor and other parents in advisory for an opportunity to create community. Then, we want to give you the time and space to get to know your child’s guides and the campus a bit better in an “open house” format. Please note, we do not have childcare for this event, so we understand if only one parent/guardian can make it.

Before the evening, we recommend previewing your child’s schedule and guides so that you can pinpoint where you will be going and with whom you’ll be meeting. You will need to know where your child’s Advisory meets to start the evening. Once you get to Advisory, we will have copies of your student’s schedule, a campus map, and locations of each guide for the evening when you arrive.

Schedule

  • 6:30-6:50 | Advisories
    • Get your student’s schedule, a campus map, and locations of each guide for the evening
    • Hear about why Advisory is so important to our program.
    • Engage in an activity to get to know the other families in your students.
  • 6:55-7:25 | Meet Your Student’s A Day Guides (Period A 12345)
    • Visit your students’ guides for A Day Classes in a casual open house format.
  • 7:30-8 | Meet Your Student’s B Day Guides (Periods B 12345)
    • Visit your students’ guides for B Day Classes in a casual open house format.

How to View Your Student’s Schedule in The Nest

  • Log into the Nest
  • Under the Nest logo at the top left, you will see either your child’s name OR if you have multiple children, it will be a drop down menu.
  • Click your child’s name.
  • You will open to the Progress tab of My Day.
  • Scroll Down to see your Courses, Advisory, and Activities. 
  • To see a calendar view, click Schedule and click to the day/week/month you wish to view
  • Parents can also view their child’s weekly schedule by going to Calendar. 

Parking 

If spots are available, guests may park on campus. Otherwise, please use surrounding street parking which is free after 6 p.m.
