    Election Day - No School

    In an effort to support the voting process for our entire community, Headwaters School will be closing school on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 for election day. To keep our school days, we will be adjusting the calendar for February 2021.

    Elementary Open House (Online)

    At our online Elementary Open House, guests (adults only, please) will have the opportunity to hear our Montessori Guides present different aspects of the Elementary curriculum and participate in a Q&A session. Our Head of School, Elementary Director, and Director of Admissions will be in attendance.

    Early Childhood Open House (Online)

    At our online Early Childhood Open House, guests (adults only, please) will have the opportunity to hear our Montessori Guides present different aspects of the Young Children's Community and Primary curriculums and participate in a Q&A session. Our Head of School, Early Childhood Director, and Director of Admissions will be in attendance.

    Parent Education: Supporting Your Student's Learning at Home

    Join Headwaters Elementary Guide and Distance Learning Coordinator Sunni Zuniga for guidance on the importance of independence in learning and advice for helping your child find their growth edge, which often includes not getting things right. This can be hard to witness but offers an opportunity that is fundamental to the classroom and that can increase effort, resilience, and accountability. We will talk about leaning into this process with your child and discuss some ways to support this work, especially in the distance-learning environment.

    Virtual Parenting Reset Workshop with Carrie Contey, PhD and Sensei Jonathan Hewitt

We’re excited to partner with Life Ki-do and invite parents to come reset and reconnect with parenting expert, Carrie Contey, PhD, and Sensei Jonathan in a virtual workshop. Practice how to get grounded, centered, and how to flow through the holiday season as a parent and as a family.
