Creek Annual Toys for Tots Drive
Creek CampusCreek Community Leaders are hosting our annual Toys for Tots drive beginning Monday, November 18 through Thursday, December 5.Toys may be dropped off either:- During morning drop-off (8-8:30 a.m.) and will be received by our Community Leaders
- Or donations may be placed in the large, wrapped donation bin near Claire's front desk during school hours.
Toys for Tots accepts new, unwrapped toys, preferably $10 or more. They also accept books, and three books count as one gift. Homemade toys are also welcome. Toys for Tots does not accept used toys, toys with a military theme, toys related to weapons or law enforcement, or toys with candy.Their mission is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November, and December each year and distribute those toys as holiday gifts to less fortunate children in the communities of Burnet, Llano, Blanco, Hays, Travis, Williamson, Bastrop, and Caldwell Counties.- What: Annual Toys for Tots Drive

What types of items are for sale and for how much?
All items for sale were created by our Upper El students. This includes crafts like bookmarks, candles, and knitted goods. It also includes food like brownies and pastries priced between $1 and $10.How should my child bring money?
Students and families may purchase with cash only. We ask that students bring their cash to school in a plastic baggie (sandwich size is great) with their first name, last name, and classroom written on it in permanent marker. A suggested amount to bring to school is $3-$10.Where will the Winter Market happen on Campus?

Creek Campus Birds NestThis semester, our Early Elementary Owls have been deeply engaged in Project: SHELTER, a transdisciplinary exploration of the fundamental human need for shelter. Starting with the "why" and "how," your children have delved into the forces—both concrete and abstract—that drive this essential need. From brainstorming and multi-step research to hands-on building and problem-solving, they’ve worked collaboratively to create and share a sense of "home."We’ve taken full advantage of our eleven wild acres of the Birds’ Nest, weaving the outdoors into this rich learning experience. Core concepts in mathematics, geography, language, and the fundamental needs of humans were brought to life, alongside the magic of childhood forest dreams.We’re incredibly proud of the heart and soul your Owls have poured into this project, and we can’t wait for you to see their amazing work!

Creek CampusFinally, please mark your calendars for our annual Creek Winter Sing-Along on Friday, December 20, from 2 to 3 p.m. This cherished tradition features student performances, including speaking parts, solos, and, of course, holiday and winter songs. We hope to see you there as you make your holiday plans!
Please note, this is the last day of the semester.Reminders:- Parking: We expect a full house! Once the school’s lot is full, please park in the Randall’s Parking lot. Do not park at Goodwill or other local businesses as they will tow and call us to complain.
- No Parent/Guardian Check-In: Upon arrival, you do not need to check in at the front office. You may head straight to your child’s classroom.
- Post-Event: Families are welcome to take their student home afterward; just let one of the guides know before you leave.
- Student Photo Privacy Request at School Events: In an effort to maintain a secure and respectful environment for all of our students while at school, we would like to ask parents to refrain from sharing photos of children, other than their own, on social media platforms. We understand the excitement that comes with capturing precious moments, but we ask for your understanding and support in protecting the privacy of all our students whose parents may not wish for their image to be shared. Apps like Canva, PicsArt, or just your phone’s editing capabilities are great ways to crop or add a sticker.
