Host Family Needed for Student from Spain

Headwaters School
Headwaters School is seeking families interested in hosting an 11th grade student from Spain for the 2021-2022 school year. Approximate dates of service are mid-August 2021 through early June 2022.
K is a 16 yo male student from Madrid, Spain. He spent the 2020-2021 school year in 10th grade at a private school in Pennsylvania and is now seeking an opportunity to join an IB World School. He has no pet or food allergies, and loves to play sports (basketball, tennis and soccer are his favorites). K also enjoys playing video games with his friends/host siblings, and would love to join an active family. He earns good grades and aspires to major in business or economics at university.

Host families will receive a monthly stipend of $500 to help offset increased food/transportation costs--it is expected that the family will provide access to three meals/day as well as transportation to/from school. The student should have a dedicated space in the host family home to sleep and study; a separate bedroom is preferred. The student will be responsible for his own school supplies and entertainment budget.

Headwaters welcomes inquiries from interested families who believe in the value of intercultural exchange. Please contact Jade Yost with International Experience if you are interested (j.yost@international-experience.net).
