Nadine Doyle '24 Selected for All Texas High School Art Show 2021

Headwaters School
Thank you to John Mulvany for sharing that our own Nadine Doyle’s (‘24) work was selected for Texas Tech’s All-Texas High-School juried exhibition, hosted by Texas Tech’s School of Art.
Please see the Youtube link below for some incredible work by some very talented young Texans. Nadine’s work can be seen at the 1:48 mark, if you'd like to view her piece Reflection first.

Texas Tech University School of Art (TTU SoA) hosted the “State of Texas High School Art” competition exhibition for the 2020-2021 school year. The virtual exhibition application was open to all current or graduating high school students within the state of Texas. However, only high school art teachers could submit one work per student in their classes.

The jury panel was composed of both 2D and 3D professors at TTU SoA. In recent years, high school students were able to have their portfolios reviewed at TTU SoA open houses where the School of Art welcomed students, teachers, parents and community members to the Art Building and 3D Annex to show off the “artistry of our faculty and students to the Lubbock and South Plains community.” Past events included workshops and art demonstrations, exhibits, tours of the facility, portfolio reviews, and high school art competitions.

Thank you TTU SoA for your support of young artists!
